About Bert Metz

Bert Metz, climate policy expert, served as UN IPCC Mitigation co-chair for the Third and Fourth Assessment Report. He also was a lead negotiator of the Netherlands and the EU for the Kyoto Protocol, Head of the Climate Change department of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, adviser with the European Climate Foundation, and visiting professor at CEU Budapest.
